Drive shaft

Drive shaft construction

  • Fastening the modified plate sprocket to the hub. We have modified the plate sprocket, because the standard plate sprocket for racing karts can´t handle the amount of torque we have from our electric motors.
  • Drilling holes into the drive shaft to include the key way for the new chain sprockets. A standard kart only have one chain transition and we are using two.
  • Putting everything together.
  • Centering motor mount in chassis.
